Zeke takes on an eccentric, gifted sidekick, Lawrence, who serves as his guiding sage. Lawrence goes about things his own way, and his cryptic communication keeps Zeke on edge.
This Was Never About Basketball will keep you turning one page after another. You’ll be questioning what is real and what isn’t. You’ll be rooting for Zeke and Lawrence. And you will be left with an inspired culmination that will leave you looking forward to books 2 and 3.
No need to be an expert in X’s and O’s. There is just enough basketball action to satisfy the hoopers out there, but this coming of age, is-it-science-fiction-or not?- story will suit any reader looking for a good time.
